Tauer Perfumes Pure Attar Oil

A perfume with no alcohol and no filler oil: just pure perfume oil. Andy Tauer, a Swiss perfumer who does everything by hand, taps into the attar tradition here.

The house doesn't sort the notes into a pyramid, but names creamy Mysore sandalwood, an Arabian wood accord, Egyptian jasmine absolute, Java vetiver and Spanish black cistus oil. The result is dark, leathery and animalic, and it needs the warmth of your skin to open up.

It's a pure perfume oil, in a 5 ml vial to dab on with a fingertip. For you if you like intimate scents that stay close to the skin.
