A campfire, a worn leather saddle and a lone rider in the distance. Andy Tauer, a Swiss perfumer who makes everything by hand, imagined Lonestar Memories as an evening outdoors after a long day.
It opens on geranium, carrot seed and clary sage, green and spicy. The heart tips into a smoky leather accord, with cistus and jasmine. The base stays warm and tenacious: myrrh, tonka bean, vetiver and sandalwood.
It's an eau de toilette, in 50 ml, but it packs a punch. For you if you like dry, smoky leathers with little sweetness.
