The first wisp of smoke rising from resin on glowing coal. It's No 5 from Andy Tauer, a Swiss perfumer who does everything by hand, built around a natural CO2 extract of Boswellia incense.
It starts on coriander and petitgrain, fresh and spicy. The heart lets the incense rise, with orris wood. The base is dry and transparent: dry woods and ambergris, holding the smoke in suspension. Intense, but never heavy.
It's an eau de parfum, in 50 ml. For you if you like minimalist incense scents, dry and airy.
