A fougère that fizzes, yes, it exists. In the Joyaux sensoriels line by J.U.S Parfums, master perfumers get carte blanche, and Philippe Paparella drew here on West Lake in Hangzhou, his refuge when he lived in Shanghai.
The opening is fresh and crisp, with bergamot, neroli and lavandin, warmed by a peppery touch. Then the surprise: Long Jing green tea, herbal, fruity, with a hint of chestnut. Blond woods, amber and patchouli settle on a reassuring mossy base.
The house doesn't state its concentration, and it comes in 25, 50 and 100 ml. For you if you like modern fougères with a nicely fresh tea twist.
