A grandmother's kitchen full of spices, bottled. In the Joyaux sensoriels line by J.U.S Parfums, master perfumers get carte blanche, and Marine Ipert imagined this one as a tribute to her grandmother from Algeria, between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
It opens in a round dance: cardamom, ginger, pink pepper, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Davana, floral and a little boozy, adds light. Then vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood join a warm, mellow vanilla absolute.
The house doesn't state its concentration, and it comes in 25, 50 and 100 ml. For you if you like round, generous spicy scents that smell of sharing.
