Coffee and oud, a devilish couple. In the Joyaux uniques line by J.U.S Parfums, master perfumers get carte blanche, and Aurélien Guichard wanted a darker, more mysterious idea here.
Roasted coffee has a temper, and it's a masterful oud that tames it. The perfumer chose a Santos coffee, with a green-bean fruitiness and a gentle bitterness that recalls cocoa. The warm, smoky oud layers over this espresso accord, with a touch of incense and patchouli to make the trail last.
The house doesn't state its concentration, and it comes in 25 and 75 ml. For you if you like dark, woody coffees, on the strong side.
