Floraïku I Am Not A Flower
Why not create an amber and call it "not a flower"? That's the slightly cheeky idea behind I Am Not A Flower, from Floraïku, a Paris house founded by Clara and John Molloy.
Up top, ginger, incense and coriander give a spicy start. The heart blends ylang-ylang, cedar, amber and rose, with flowers that never take over. The base, sandalwood, vetiver, labdanum and patchouli, is deep.
It's an eau de parfum in 50 ml, delivered with a 10 ml travel spray in its case. For you if you love woody ambers, warm and a little mysterious.
