A man at a private club bar, outfit not quite by the rules, and everyone wondering who let him in. At Roja Parfums, the house Roja Dove founded in Mayfair in 2011, the aim is openly haute perfumery.
Bergamot, lemon and mandarin open cleanly. The heart is softer than you'd expect: geranium, May rose, neroli, jasmine and a powdery heliotrope. The base is the club atmosphere: cognac, tobacco, cardamom, ginger, pepper, patchouli, sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla and ambergris.
It's an eau de parfum, in 100 ml. For you if you like slightly smoky cognac and tobacco ambers.
