A smooth cream laid over dark woods: that's the idea. Crème Ebène is signed by Patricia de Nicolaï, who graduated from ISIPCA in 1981 and founded the house that bears her name.
The opening is spicy, with cardamom, cumin and saffron. At the heart, three cedars (Atlas and Virginia among them) meet a gourmand Medjool date. The base mixes papyrus, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla and white musk.
It's an eau de parfum intense, in 30, 100 or 250 ml. It'll please those who like their woods with a hint of sweetness, and it feels right at home on cool evenings.
