Shams Oud opens on pepper and ginger, then slides into cypriol and a balsamic oud. It's a perfume from the French niche house Memo Paris.
The opening pairs pink pepper and ginger. The heart is woody and soft, with cypriol and cashmeran. The base is warm and resinous: styrax, Peru balsam, vetiver and oud. A bright, enveloping oud, more soft than dark.
