Santal Austral also comes as an extrait de parfum from Matière Première, the Paris house founded by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. Every perfume from the house starts from one central raw material.
Here it is a creamy, powerful sandalwood built on organic Australian sandalwood. The extrait intensifies it and pairs it with black cardamom absolute from Nepal.
The house does not publish a classic pyramid, only its key materials. It's an extrait, more concentrated than the eau de parfum, in 50 and 100 ml. Like the whole house, it has no gender.
