Musk, the cuddly kind, but not too well-behaved. Musc Pallas is signed by Vanina Muracciole for Jovoy, a Paris house from 1923 that François Hénin relaunched as a niche label.

Ambrette and bergamot set the tone, light and bright. In the heart, velvety peach meets iris and a rather surprising touch of sea spray. The base stays soft, with musk and tonka bean.

It's an eau de parfum, offered in 75 ml or in a 15 ml size that slips into any bag. It should suit anyone after a powdery, clean, slightly fruity signature they can wear without overthinking it.
