Heeley Athenean
A fig, but from the wood side rather than the fruit side. With Athenean, James Heeley reworks his earlier Figuier and looks at the whole tree, with a nod to Greek mythology.
It opens on green leaves and galbanum, crisp and a little bitter. The heart brings together fig, white tea and melon, fresh and almost aquatic. The base warms up gently with amber, musk and sandalwood, like bark that's been sitting in the sun.
It's an eau de parfum, in 15 and 100 ml. For you if you like bright green figs that are more fresh than milky.
