No, there's no leather in it. The name comes from an old practice: tanned skins were soaked in a perfume, which they held onto for a very long time. Geo F. Trumper, the Mayfair barber-perfumer, turned it into one of its classics.
It starts on clove and lavender, spicy and aromatic. The heart blooms with geranium, rosemary and rose. The base turns warm: patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla.
It's an eau de cologne, in 30 ml, 50 ml or 100 ml. For you if you want a warm, understated scent that works at the office as well as at night.
