A soft-spoken scent in the great barbershop tradition. Geo F. Trumper, the Mayfair house, presents Astor in a crown-topped glass bottle, tucked into a leatherette drum.

The house doesn't give a pyramid, but describes a soft, mild scent where sandalwood and caraway stand out. A woody, slightly aniseed-like pairing, fairly rare, that stays close to the skin.
