Exit the King tells the story of a fall, of certainties and of power, staged in a perfumery in the Marais. It's a chypre from the French niche house Etat Libre d'Orange.
The opening blends Timut pepper, a soap foam accord (aldehydes and musk) and pink pepper. The heart is floral, with jasmine, rose and a lily of the valley accord. The base is properly chypre: patchouli, moss absolute, a sandalwood accord and Orcanox. Clean at the top, elegant and mossy at the base.
It's an eau de parfum sold in 50 and 100 ml. For anyone who loves modern chypres, at the office or on a night out.
