Contes de Parfums Salalah
Salalah, in Oman, the city of frankincense. In the Cities collection by Contes de Parfums, each perfumer tells of a moment lived while passing through a city, and Julien Rasquinet drew on his trip there for this Arabic-accented scent.
It opens gently on plum and rose, a delicate floral entrance. The heart grows richer with an enveloping Turkish rose and patchouli. The base is rich and woody: an unmistakable oud, a soft, cosy labdanum, and gurjun, fresh and spicy.
It's an eau de parfum, in 50 and 100 ml. For you if you like rose and oud pairings, but in a refined version.
