With Vanille Leather, BDK Parfums pays tribute to Madagascan vanilla. Dominique Ropion pairs it with white flowers, then darkens it with smoky oak wood, patchouli and a leather accord.
It opens on pink pepper and a violet accord. The heart is floral and generous: Indian tuberose, Egyptian jasmine, orange blossom. The base carries the vanilla with patchouli, oak, leather, orris and benzoin.
